This morning I awoke to a beautiful winter-like wonderland.
Today is the day that my flash fiction piece – Breaking Free – is being featured as one of three honourable mentions for a contest that ran on the great blog, Postcards, poems and prose. I hope you’ll pop over there and check it out. They’ve set the story on a postcard background and they’ve done an interesting little bio of me to go with it.
Congrats! 🙂
YAY YOU!! :0
Thanks for the shout-out, Francis. We were happy you entered our contest and are perfectly proud to have your story published in our zine. (eds.)
That is wonderful, congratulations! I am really enjoying “Disappearing in Plain Sight.” 🙂
I followed the link to your blog from PP&P – congrats on the story! Nicely done. And your blog is rather nice, too; love that photo today. Beautiful.
That is a spectacular photo! Is that really your view? Wow! Congrats on Breaking Free!
Thanks to everyone for popping over to Postcards, poems and prose – isn’t it an awesome site? And thanks for the congrats. I’m grouping my comments because I can’t figure out how to block my own replies from the list of comments that run down the side of my blog. I am using this widget to highlight those of you who choose to comment – not to see my own face a dozen times. If anyone has any feedback on how to change this, let me know. I’ve tried the visibility option on the widget to no avail. Anyway – yes indeed – that is my view. I am thrilled that readers are enjoying Disappearing in Plain Sight. The snow is quickly melting away – spring is just around the corner.
