How nice, Fran! These girls will discover that there is no one quite like a sister who knows you well and loves you unconditionally. I am glad that they will have a picture of this beautiful moment which they shared as children. Even now, at the age of 70, the little girl in me comes alive when I see an old photo of me sitting between my two sisters on the front step of our family home. Though we are miles apart now, we remain that close to one another to this very day – sisters, side-by-side no matter what.

By the way – I finished Disappearing in Plain Sight last week — loved it. I’m planning a review on my blog later this week (hopefully). I want to post a picture of the cover – what should I link it to? Also, I’ll cook up some questions for an author interview post. Should I send them to you over email?

Adorable! I am one of three sisters and my mom dressed us alike all the time. At a certain age (I suspect around age 7 or 8) we started to hate the “stifling of our individuality”, but now we look back and those are our favorite photos! 🙂

    • I was not fortunate enough to have a sister, three brothers instead. My daughter did not have a sister, just one brother. So – these little granddaughters are having something two generations before did not. I’m sure they will enjoy the experience with all its ups and downs and I am looking forward to being part of the whole beautiful thing.

I would really love to hear what you think about this post . . .
