Happy 56th today for me! What a month – prizes, party-time the whole month long for my blog anniversary, and now my own birthday.
If you have thought of checking out Disappearing in Plain Sight – today would be a good day to do it. A great gift for all of us. I’m off now for a day jam-packed with birthday fun.
Bye
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Happy Birthday To You!!
Have a wonderful day of celebration!
Happy Birthday 🙂
Ah, 1957… it was a very good year. 😉
Do I sense another born in 1957 person out there in the blogosphere? A very good year indeed!
Bingo! Viva Sputnik!
I am happy for you on this milestone, but for me, it just serves as a reminder that that same year, I graduated from high school. Win a few, lose a few, I guess. Happy Birthday anyway.:)
All dates are so relative, right? 56 (or 26, or 36, or 46) have all felt just a bit eeekkkk – closer to the next decade than the last. Oh well. Age is relative, right?
It’s just a number.
Enjoy your special day, Francis!
Happy Birthday and Congratulations on the blog anniversary!! Best wishes for many many more 🙂
Have an amazing day! Happy birthday!!
Whh hoo! Happy happy Day! Meow!
Happy Birthday, Francis! I hope it’s a fabulous one and that give yourself a bit of downtime 🙂
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY!!!
Happy birthday Fran, you are just a young spring chicken. Have fun – Maggie.
Happy Birthday!!
Happy birthday! And I’ve nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. Here’s the link if you’d like to accept. http://africolonialstories.wordpress.com/2013/06/28/very-inspiring-blogger-award/
Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I had a really great day and leftover birthday cake for breakfast today is quite the treat! I don’t do blog awards though I am quite grateful for the nomination. Thank you.
56 is a wonderful age, as i’m experiencing it now myself. wishing you countless happy continuation days of peace
It’s a good thing that peace is a state of mind and not necessarily connected to one’s surroundings. A busy household with two small children and a dog seems quite the whirlwind to me at times. A far cry from the silence of my lakeside abode. But I treasure each moment. My not quite two-year old granddaughter told me a two-word story last night. When I asked her how the party was she pointed at herself and said, “Me, cupcake.” This statement was accompanied by a wide grin. Simplicity, love of the tiny seemingly inconsequential moments matters so much. I am hoping 56 will be wonderful. As I get older I do appreciate things in a more nuanced way.
My apologies, my birthday wish is a little late – Happy Birthday! I hope you had a great day and may the year ahead exceed your greatest expectations! 🙂
Since I generally come from the school of thought that promotes low expectations so as not to be disappointed – maybe I will surprise myself. Who knows. Thanks for the birthday wishes.
