This little bird flew down and sat on the porch railing right in front of my 3-year-old granddaughter’s nose and we just stood and watched it for a few seconds. Like any grandmother worth her salt, I had my camera in my pocket and decided to risk taking it a couple of shots. My granddaughter said, “He won’t fly away, Grandma. He likes me.” So cute.
