Just purchased this book based solely on my deep love for the Crater Lake series. I live in Kansas in the US and can’t find any of your books at my library. If I could put in a good word for you at my library, I am sure you would become immensely popular here. Tell me if there is something I could do to spread your writing around places it currently isn’t!
Many, many thanks for your support, Rose. I am a big supporter of libraries and the service they provide – good grief, books are expensive, for sure. It is quite the challenge for a small, independent, self-publisher like myself to get my books in libraries far and wide. I have done very well through my local library system but I have no idea how I would carve out a spot in Kansas. Word of mouth by enthusiastic fans sells more books than people realize and so far, it is one of the only tools I am sure has worked for me. I am happy dancing around my kitchen with the thought that you might spread the good word on the Crater Lake Series in Kansas. What a small world we live in. Let’s stay in touch and if I come up with a dynamite promotion idea, I’m positive your enthusiasm will carry the day.
I have put an electronic request in to my library to start carrying the Crater Lake series. We shall see what happens!! 🙂
We shall see what happens, indeed 🙂 Many thanks, Rose. Supportive readers make the whole self-publishing gig well worth the effort.
Just what I need for my books too, Francis: it is indeed very hard for indie authors to get their books out there to the readers! All best wishes for this one to find a fan base!
Thanks 🙂 I keep plugging away but one can certainly end up feeling like a voice crying in the wilderness. Always nice to hear a supportive voice.
